The macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 Update improves the stability, performance, and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users and includes the following: Adds support for Business Chat conversations in Messages in the U.S.; Adds support for external graphics processors (eGPUs).; Fixes graphics corruption issues affecting certain apps on iMac Pro.; Allows jumping to the rightmost open tab using Command-9 in Safari.; Enables sorting of Safari bookmarks by name or URL by Control-clicking and choosing Sort By.; Fixes an issue that may prevent web link previews from appearing in Messages.; Helps protect privacy by only AutoFilling usernames and passwords after selecting them in a web form field in Safari.; Displays warnings in the Safari Smart Search field when interacting with password or credit card forms on unencrypted webpages.; Displays privacy icons and links to explain how your data will be used and protected when Apple features ask to use your personal information as well as a few more.

Little Snitch 4.0.6 makes Silent Mode actually silent again. Starting in Little Snitch 4.0.5, processes with certain code signature issues caused Connection Alerts to appear even during Silent Mode. These appeared in more situations than we originally intended, though, so we redesigned how this works. Now, no Connection Alerts will appear during Silent Mode (as it was before Little Snitch 4.0.5), but you may see a notification in the top-right corner of the screen about connections being denied due to code signature issues.

Houdah Software announces HoudahGeo 5.2, a major upgrade to the photo geotagging tool for Mac. HoudahGeo tags photos with location coordinates and names. Standard EXIF, XMP, and IPTC geotags allow photo cataloging tools to organize and find photos by location. HoudahGeo works with Apple Photos, iPhoto, Aperture, and Adobe Lightroom. Version 5.2 adds support for Lightroom Classic, brings many enhancements to the geocoding workflow and adds support for newer EXIF tags.
