Mini vMac 2.5 now emulates the extended Parameter RAM of the Mac Plus, thanks to code contributed by Philip Cummins. Previously only the 20 byte PRAM of the original Macintosh 128 was emulated. The larger 256 byte PRAM stores additional information such as the time zone, latitude, longitude, and the alert sound. So now the Map and Sound control panels will work.
